Master Route Compatibility Rules

There are several validation rules that indicate that a visit is compatible with a Master Route. Below is a list of those validations. During drag-drop planning in the planning view, a reason message is shown of the validation fails.

  • Incompatible Day - The selected Visit must have a visit day on the same day as the Master Route.

  • Incompatible Container Type - The selected visit must have a Container Type which is compatible with the Vehicle Type assigned to the Master Route.

  • Unsupported Product - The selected visit must have Material Type which is accepted by the Master Routes Allowed Material Types list. (Configured in the Route settings).

  • Incompatible Visit Week - For visits which are less than weekly, the selected visit must have visits which match the week number of the Master Route. For example, if the Master Route is every 2 weeks on week 2, then the visit for every 2 weeks must be on week 2.

  • Incompatible Service Frequency - For visits which are less than weekly, the selected Visit must repeat on a compatible frequency to the Master Route. For example, an 'Every 2 Week' Master Route can only accept visits which are Every 2 Weeks, Every 4 Weeks, Every 6 Weeks, etc.
